Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to help translate policy into actionable direction for an integrated eligibility platform. You will analyze Medicaid policy, research federal/state requirements, and guide teams on priorities to improve service experiences.

You will collaborate across product, design, and engineering to ensure compliant, effective policies and scalable system behavior, with remote-friendly options in the United States.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of policy analysis experience.
• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, or agency guidance.
• Independent work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in policy contexts.
• Document research processes, findings, and recommendations clearly.
• Experience with Medicaid eligibility and enrollment policy.
• Experience with agile delivery and human-centered design.
• Graduate degree in public policy or related field.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship.
• May be subject to government background checks or security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Policy Translation & Implementation across programs and tech.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate policy into system behavior and user experiences.
• Identify regulatory constraints and propose compliant, user-friendly solutions.
• Develop policy briefs and decision frameworks to support priorities.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementations.
• Conduct landscape research to monitor evolving policies and their tech implications.
• Build relationships with external partners to exchange implementation lessons.
