Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to translate Medicaid policy analysis into practical recommendations and actionable decisions for integrated eligibility platforms.

You will research federal and state requirements, prioritize policy work with teams, and ensure compliance across systems and processes. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to shape workflows and user experiences while staying current on legislation and policy trends to improve

Qualifications

• 3 years of policy analysis experience or relevant graduate education
• Experience researching and interpreting policy using statutes or agency guidance
• Excellent written and verbal communication in policy contexts
• Graduate degree in public policy or related field
• Legal US work authorization
• Experience with Medicaid eligibility policy
• Experience with agile delivery and human-centered design processes

Responsibilities

• Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences
• Identify regulatory constraints, risks, and ambiguities and propose compliant solutions
• Support testing and validation of policy implementation
• Conduct landscape and cross-jurisdictional research on evolving policies
• Build external partnerships to exchange implementation lessons for Nava’s policy expertise
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate policy into operational guidance
