Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to translate Medicaid policy into actionable system behavior and decisions within an integrated eligibility platform.

You will collaborate across product, design, and engineering to ensure compliant, effective operations and clear, practical recommendations. You will independently research federal and state requirements, develop research plans, and synthesize analyses to improve service experiences and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of policy analysis experience or relevant graduate-level education.
• Ability to independently research, interpret policy, and apply analysis to program decisions.
• Strong relationship-building with internal teams and external partners.
• Self-directed and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in policy contexts.

Responsibilities

• Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences.
• Identify regulatory constraints and risks, proposing compliant, user-friendly solutions.
• Create artifacts to support decision-making and prioritization.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementations.
• Synthesize research into clear communications for diverse audiences.
