Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in insurance-related customer service.
• General knowledge of ISO policy forms including manuscript coverage forms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and adaptability to internal software.
• Strong attention to detail; accuracy is critical.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Keen problem-solving skills.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Professional with ambition and solid work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Issuance of underwriting authority policies and endorsements, with timely accuracy.
• Maintain system and documentation to support the issue process.
• Process and service premium bearing and non-premium bearing endorsements, including rating and invoicing.
• Interact with Finance and Compliance Departments.
• Participate in underwriting training sessions.
• Assist Underwriters with file review, enterprise coding, rating for all lines, update underwriting narrative, statement of values and loss control reports.
