Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a motivated Policy Service Technician to join the Underwriting department. The role offers a merit-based work-from-home program after initial in-person training, with flexibility in work-from-home time as defined by leadership.

The position emphasizes effective communication with policyholders and accurate processing of transactions. Key responsibilities include document entry, interpreting instructions, and maintaining policy files.

Qualifications

• High school education or its equivalent is required.
• Above average communication skills (written and verbal).
• Organize and interpret data.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with policyholders, claimants, agents and departments via verbal and/or written correspondence.
• Enter assigned source documents accurately.
• Interpret and apply verbal and/or written instructions to key transactions.
• Maintain records and/or policy files per guidelines.
• Assist with other duties within the department or elsewhere as requested.
• Must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
