Job summary

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a motivated individual to assist policyholders with servicing policies and evaluating coverages for cross-selling opportunities. The role includes learning frontline underwriting and binding coverage under company guidelines.

After initial training in-person, this position offers a merit-based work-from-home program allowing up to 3 days of remote work per week based on responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Several years of related experience and/or training or Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum of two years of customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain resident and/or non-resident licenses needed to complete assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with policyholders and associates at all levels.
• Establish working relationships with policyholders.
• Answer policyholder questions accurately with other departments as needed.
• Educate customers on insurance types to make recommendations.
• Learn frontline underwriting and bind coverage per guidelines.
