Job summary

Hawthorne Lane seeks a temporary Paralegal in Washington, DC to support legislative and regulatory research, client communications, PAC administration, and filings at federal, state, and local levels.

You will monitor developments, prepare materials, and manage time-sensitive priorities while collaborating with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced, policy-focused environment. This three-month assignment offers hybrid work flexibility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with external contacts and support firm needs.
• Track legislative and regulatory activity relevant to clients.
• Conduct research for client requests and practice needs.
• Prepare and file documents at federal, state, and local levels.
• Assist with PAC administration and compliance filings.
• Review records for discrepancies and ensure timely reporting.
• Draft client-facing documents with attention to detail.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines collaboratively.
