Responsibilities
- Process and file paperwork, perform clerical duties, and assist in preparing binding and legal documents such as insurance policies and mortgage loans.
- Maintain and update documentation, including client communications, records tracking, and specification changes.
- Control and coordinate the filing of documentation related to policies and other legal records.
- Follow up with customers to ensure accurate records and field general questions about written and electronic forms, procedures, and practices.
- Conduct Internet research, run reports about sales, account management, and operations information, and file documentation with technology such as a computer or handheld device.
- Utilize a computer tracking system to maintain documentation control and, if needed, train others in how to use the system.
- Review, understand, and communicate current policies and laws; record, store, and forward information for government agencies, internal departments, and outside entities.
- Travel to customer sites as required, working with computers and managing paperwork.
