Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture seeks a detail-oriented Policy Enforcement Specialist to own investigations, audits, and cross-functional risk signaling in the U.S. region.

You will transform raw data into high-fidelity reports that inform policy updates and roadmaps, spotting anomalies and tracing them to systemic opportunities. You’ll collaborate with policy teams, program managers, and content governance partners to reduce risk, improve processes, and strengthen trust across the platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in content moderation, trust & safety, policy operations, compliance auditing, or risk analysis.
• Proven track record in root-cause analysis with investigations or deep-dive audits into escalations, customer complaints, or bad-actor behaviors.
• Experience drafting, maintaining, or refining SOPs and operational workflows to address policy gaps or process friction.
• Strong ability to communicate findings and present risk signals effectively to program managers, policy leaders, or cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Content Deep-dives: perform deep-dive reviews of creators, content and product listings to identify risk patterns and gaps.
• Trend Reporting: draft recurring insights reports linking raw data to business priorities for Strategic Program Managers.
• Root-Cause Investigation: analyze escalations to identify policy gaps or operational friction points.
• Process Feedback & SOP Iteration: refine audit methodologies and SOPs to stay ahead of evolving bad-actor behaviors.
• Cross-Functional Signaling: flag emerging risks and violative trends with evidence for process improvements.
• Domain Support & Special Projects: investigate drivers behind KPI fluctuations.
