Job summary

The State of Colorado is hiring a Compliance and Publication Coordinator at Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility in Crowley, CO. The role focuses on ensuring adherence to COPD, COPD standards, and state/federal laws; coordinating policy development, audits, and updates; and collaborating with facility leadership to implement action plans while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires six years of experience in analyzing operating methods, procedures, policies and preparing reports, or managing accreditation/auditing programs.
• Experience or education combination equal to six years.
• Strong knowledge of policy drafting, review and development for governmental/correctional entities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as facility policy coordinator, plan and direct the self-inspection program.
• Monitor policies to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
• Audit operations to verify compliance with standards and laws.
• Draft, revise and publish policy updates and compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with management to develop plans of action to meet standards.
• Travel to facilities as required.
