Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of facility, staff and inmates; train inmates in proper use of tools, enforce security procedures and conduct searches.
• Oversee building and grounds operations including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and general repairs for cost-effective maintenance.
• Instruct inmates in remodeling and maintenance of prison buildings and in safe use and accountability of tools and equipment.
• Supervise assigned inmate crews, schedule tasks, track hours/pay, and manage inventory to support daily operations.
