Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Policy Coordinator to maintain the organization\'s policies and procedures and to track policy and procedure compliance for the Quality, Accreditation and Reporting Department.

The role involves managing the policy review cycle, training end users on the policy software, and preparing compliance reports while supporting internal audits and process improvements across our Illinois network.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required or higher with healthcare emphasis.
• Related field degree acceptable as alternative.
• Experience in lieu of education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manages policy and procedure review cycle to ensure documents are reviewed per policy.
• Trains end users how to manage documents utilizing the policy software system.
• Tracks policy and procedure compliance.
• Assists the Accreditation & ISO Supervisor with survey-related activities including document preparation, data collection and internal auditing.
• Assists with process improvement as it relates to document management across the system.
• Communicates policy updates to staff and leaders.
• Prepares, maintains, and/or distributes policy compliance reports.
