Job summary

CITY OF EVANS in Evans, Colorado, seeks a Police Records Specialist in the Police Administration division. Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of records management and administrative duties to support police records functions and department operations.

The role involves handling confidential reports, court requirements, and information systems, with attention to accuracy and compliance while delivering quality customer service. This is a non-exempt, full-time position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years of customer service or administrative support experience required.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine and complex records management duties for police reports, records, and case files.
• Process confidential correspondence and manage mail, subpoenas, and data entry into RMS/NCIC/NIBRS.
• Provide administrative support to Command Staff, including calendar management and meeting notes.
