Job summary

City of Evans is seeking a Police Records Specialist to support the police records and administrative functions for the department. You will handle confidential reports, process records, and maintain law enforcement data systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and experience in administrative support within a municipal setting. Evening/weekend coverage may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or higher.
• Four years of customer service or administrative support experience.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform confidential police records and case file management.
• Enter data into RMS, CCIC/NCIC, and NIBRS systems.
• Provide calendar management and meeting note preparation for Command Staff.
• Process requests for Body Worn Camera footage and redactions.
