Job summary

The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) Police Department seeks a highly qualified Police Administrative Supervisor to lead administrative and operational support functions critical to the Department's effectiveness and public safety mission.

The role oversees Police Records and Administrative Services, Budget and Procurement, and Operational Support, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Experience: 4 years of verifiable law enforcement administrative experience or 4 years of administrative experience with at least 2 years in records administration and control.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and coordinates the activities of police support functions including records, payroll, budget, accounts payable/receivable, and procurement.
• Monitors budget expenditures and other fiscal responsibilities of the assigned sections.
• Prepares reports related to activities and provides administrative support to police managers and other departments.
