Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services in Delaware is seeking a Foreman to supervise field crews performing inspection, maintenance, and restoration of utility infrastructure. You will plan, organize, and coordinate daily field operations, and ensure safety and quality across multiple job types.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to train and motivate a team of up to ten employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must complete Foreman Training Program (3–8 weeks).
• Valid state drivers license with clean record.
• First Aid/CPR certifications may be required.
• Ability to read maps and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews while planning, organizing, and coordinating daily field operations.
• Maintain professional appearance and communicate respectfully with customers.
• Hire, train, motivate and supervise a crew of up to ten employees.
• Effectively manage daily work to meet safety, quality, production, expense control, and crew management goals.
• Organize resources and prioritize work to complete job within established time frame.
• Operate vehicles to transport material, equipment, and crew to and from job site.
• Collect, record, and submit timely data related to timekeeping, payroll, and work performed.
• Promote and enforce safety by conducting daily briefings and safety meetings; ensure drivers are qualified.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools; ensure inventory levels are adequate.
• Adhere to company and customer policies and procedures, including coaching and discipline.
