Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services is seeking a Foreman to lead field crews responsible for inspection, maintenance, and restoration of utility infrastructure. You will plan, organize, and coordinate daily field operations while supervising up to ten employees.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus Foreman Training and a valid driver’s license. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality work, with equipment and inventory management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ months related experience; must complete Foreman Training Program.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record; CPR/First Aid certifications may be required; DOT medical exam may be required.
• Experience hiring, training, and supervising a crew of up to 10; strong safety, quality, and communication skills.
• Must be able to operate and coordinate field operations; proficient in basic math and data entry for timekeeping and payroll.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews while planning and coordinating daily field operations for various job types.
• Hire, train, motivate, and supervise a crew of up to ten employees of diverse backgrounds.
• Manage daily work and crew to meet safety, quality, production, expense, and crew goals.
• Organize resources and prioritize work to complete jobs within set time frames.
• Operate vehicles to transport material, equipment, and crew to job sites; may tow a trailer.
• Record timekeeping, payroll, and work performed data accurately and timely.
• Promote and enforce safety; conduct daily briefings and weekly safety meetings; ensure drivers are qualified.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools; ensure adequate inventory of supplies.
