Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. in Texas is seeking a production welder to join our pole assembly team. You will weld and assemble components for high-strength poles, following detailed drawings and safety guidelines.

You will operate flux-cored or other welding processes, read specs, and inspect welds using gauges. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read basic prints and perform shop math.
• Must be able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform production welding and assembly of pole components per drawings.
• Read and interpret drawings to identify parts and sequence.
• Operate plasma torch and oxy-fuel torch to cut steel.
• Set up welding equipment and adjust parameters.
• Inspect welds and use gauges to ensure dimensions.
• Handle lifting and moving parts up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance.
• Assist other welders and fitters as needed.
