Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking a production welder to assemble pole assemblies and components in a manufacturing environment. You will perform welds, read drawings, and measure layouts to ensure accurate assembly, using plasma and oxy-fuel torches, grinders, and drills.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols. The position involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced shop setting with attention to

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficiency in reading complex prints and specifications.
• Knowledge of basic shop mathematics (fractions, decimals, conversions).
• Ability to locate and gather parts from storeroom for assembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform production using prescribed codes, procedures, drawings.
• Weld and assemble pole components using Flux Cored Arc Welding.
• Read drawings to determine parts and locations for assembly; measure with tape/scale.
• Operate plasma and oxy-fuel torches; cut steel and lay out slots/holes as required.
• Use grinders and drills; maintain safety equipment and PPE.
