Job summary

The Point of Care Coordinator at Brown University Health oversees POCT programs across the facility, ensuring accurate testing, adherence to regulatory standards, and timely results. You will lead policy development, device validation, inventory management, and instrument maintenance.

You will partner with laboratory staff, clinicians, IT, and vendors to integrate POCT data into EHRs, coordinate training, audits, and quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field (required).
• Certification as MLS or MT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee POCT policies, procedures, and quality controls.
