Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Point of Care Coordinator (POCC) to oversee Point of Care Testing (POCT) across the region. You will ensure QA activities meet CLIA/CAP standards, educate staff, audit processes, and maintain accreditation readiness.

In this role you will coordinate regulatory updates, supervise education and competency, and collaborate with the Regional Manager and Medical Director to evaluate new instruments and methods, ensuring high-quality patient results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Medical Lab Science Program.
• 3-5 years of previous job-related experience.
• Specific Degree(s): Medical Technology, or Medical Laboratory Science.

Responsibilities

• Education: quality checks on compliance with regulatory requirements and policies for POCT.
• Point-of-Care Performance: establish and monitor POC procedures across testing sites.
• Quality Improvement: participate in testing procedures, regulatory updates, training, and records management.
• Provider Support: evaluate new instruments, products, procedures and methods with Regional Manager & Medical Director.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a Medical Lab Science Program
