Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa is seeking a Point of Care Ambulatory Lab Supervisor to lead the POC testing program across ambulatory sites. Hybrid work arrangement with shift 8:00am–4:30pm; Full-time role.

You will ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP), staff training and competency, and collaborate with clinical leadership to provide safe, accurate POC testing.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's in Biological Science or Clinical Science Related.
• Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License.
• 4 years Clinical Laboratory Related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and regulatory oversight for the Point of Care (POC) testing program across BayCare's ambulatory settings.
• Ensures high-quality patient testing through compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP...), staff training and competency, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement.
• Collaborates with laboratory leadership, ambulatory leadership, providers, nursing, vendors and other interdisciplinary teams to support safe, accurate, and efficient POC testing services.
• Assists with special projects and other duties assigned by the Scientific Director in support of organizational priorities.
