This role emphasizes Pre-Analytical Testing support, staffing, coaching, safety, and continuous improvement. A Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or related Clinical Science field, a Florida State Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License, and four years of clinical lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or related clinical science field.
• Four (4) years of clinical laboratory or related experience.
• State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing laboratory staff and daily departmental operations.
• Hiring, onboarding and scheduling staff to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Conducting performance evaluations and coaching team members for growth and development.
• Ensuring timely and accurate laboratory testing and result reporting.
• Supporting staff competency, training, and validation processes.
• Troubleshooting issues related to testing, equipment, and specimen handling.
• Maintaining regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
• Enforcing laboratory safety standards and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Assisting with expense processing and departmental operations.
• Supporting leadership priorities and performing additional duties as assigned.
