Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group in Springfield, MO is seeking a DPM to provide podiatric care in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, and senior living communities. You will assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions while delivering preventive care for high-risk patients.

The role offers flexible scheduling as a part-time 1099 position with competitive pay, benefits, and support staff. You will document encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad and participate in Medicare

Qualifications

• DPM degree required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required ; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings.
• Able to lift/carry up to 15 lbs. as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
