Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living communities. You will assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions, and deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.

Collaborate with facility staff to achieve patient-centered outcomes and participate in Medicare quality programs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree is required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience in long-term care or nursing home settings is preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings.
• Able to lift/carry up to 15 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad
