Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group seeks a Podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living communities. The part-time (1099) position offers flexible scheduling and a clinical focus with minimal administrative burden.

You will assess and treat foot and lower limb conditions, deliver preventive care for high-risk patients (including diabetic foot management), and educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree is required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings.
• Able to lift/carry up to 15 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
