Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care facilities and senior living communities. You will diagnose and treat foot and lower limb conditions, manage diabetic foot care, and collaborate with facility staff to optimize patient outcomes.

This part-time 1099 role offers flexible scheduling, guaranteed patient volume from day one, and company support for billing, credentialing, and documentation using NextGen EMR on an iPad.

Qualifications

• DPM degree and state licensure required.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings.
• Willingness to work in a flexible 1099 role.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on company-issued iPad.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
