Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group seeks a part-time podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living communities in Springfield, MO. Travel with mileage reimbursement is included.

You will document in NextGen EMR on an iPad and participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care. Requires DPM and active licensure (or eligibility); BLS is required and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• DPM degree required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 15 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Document encounters in NextGen EMR on company-issued iPad.
