Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking an assembler for the Power Drive – Transmission POD 720 Final Assembly. You will use impact guns, torque wrenches, gauges, and other tools to bolt, align, and assemble transmission components while ensuring precise installation.

Workweek is Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm with a starting rate of $20.00 per hour plus experience-based increases, climate-controlled conditions, and multiple wage reviews over two years.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8-10 hours).
• The ability to use handheld tools such as impact guns, torque wrenches, gauges, hoists, and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble transmission components according to procedures.
• Bolt case to stand and rotate during assembly.
• Inspect assemblies with gauges to ensure proper installation.
• Learn and follow Jasper Engines & Transmissions manufacturing processes.

Power Drive – Transmission POD 720 Final Assembly

Job Overview: Will utilize several types of tools not limited but including impact gun, torque wrench, gauges, and hand tools in the assembly process. The assembly process includes bolting the case to the stand (rotating the case several times on the stand while in assembly process) installing and aligning pistons, rings, rear planet, gears, pan, pump, valve body and other parts. An individual will inspect with gauge or other tools to ensure proper installation. One must be organized, attentive to detail and be willing to learn the processes of assembling a transmission.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications:

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as impact guns, torque wrenches, gauges, hoists, and hand tools.
• Walking: Frequently
• Stooping (forward leaning): Frequently
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally.
