JASPER is seeking a Power Drive – Transmission POD 720 Final Assembly worker for the Indiana facility. You will assemble and align transmission components, verify fit with gauges, and learn Jasper’s assembly processes.
The role requires attention to detail, hand tool proficiency, and the ability to stand for long shifts. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm with overtime opportunities; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
Power Drive – Transmission POD 720 Final Assembly Job Overview: Will utilize several types of tools not limited but including impact gun, torque wrench, gauges, and hand tools in the assembly process. The assembly process includes bolting the case to the stand (rotating the case several times on the stand while in assembly process) installing and aligning pistons, rings, rear planet, gears, pan, pump, valve body and other parts. An individual will inspect with gauge or other tools to ensure proper installation. One must be organized, attentive to detail and be willing to learn the processes of assembling a transmission.
