Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a Diesel POD 70 – Block Repair technician in Jasper, IN. This role focuses on inspecting blocks/heads, following a strict repair process, and performing precision machining with mills, boring equipment, hones and valve seat cutters.

Candidates should have strong math skills and attention to detail. Day shift, Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm, with overtime opportunities.

Job Description:Diesel POD 70 – Block RepairLocation: Jasper HQ - Jasper, IN815 Wernsing Rd, Jasper IN 47546Job Overview:This position requires someone that is highly detailed and able to follow an established process. It includes inspecting block/head for any damage and then following the established process to make necessary repairs. The position requires the use of basic hand tools including air impacts and measurement gauges to determine if the product is in tolerance. This position will also require the use of mills, boring equipment, hones and valve seat cutters to make final machining finish.
