JASPER Engines & Transmissions in Jasper, IN is seeking a detail-oriented Diesel POD 70 Block Repair technician. You will inspect blocks/heads for damage, then follow a defined process to perform repairs using mills, boring equipment, hones and valve seat cutters.

The role requires basic math and the use of hand tools and measurement gauges to verify tolerances; schedule is Monday–Friday, with overtime and opportunities to earn wage increases through quarterly reviews.

Qualifications

• This position requires someone that is highly detailed and able to follow an established process.
• Basic math skills are a requirement.
• Use of basic hand tools including air impacts and measurement gauges to determine tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect block/head for damage and follow the established process to make repairs.
• Use mills, boring equipment, hones and valve seat cutters to complete final machining finishes.
• Apply basic math and measurement to ensure parts are within tolerance.
