Job summary

JASPER is hiring for a Gas - POD 30 Disassembly position in Jasper, IN. Associates will disassemble engine cores, remove components, and prepare parts for washing, using various tools with focus on precision and safety.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate hand tools such as impacts, hammers, and drills.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble engine core components such as bolts, rings, seals, and rods using handheld tools and safety procedures.
• Prep removed parts for washing by loading them into baskets for cleaning.
• Maintain high attention to detail, hand dexterity, and problem-solving to ensure quality work.

Gas - POD 30 Disassembly

Job Overview

Associates disassemble the entire engine core, which includes removal of bolts, rings, seals, connector rods, pistons, cylinder heads, etc... Associates do this by using various tools like impacts, drills, sockets, hammers, and specialized tooling. After removing the parts, they will then load the various parts in a basket, prepping them to be washed. Must have excellent attention to detail, strong hand dexterity and problem-solving skills. Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, hammers, and drills.
• Standing: 8 hrs.
• Walking: 2 hrs.
• Sitting: 0 hrs.
• Stooping (forward leaning): sometimes.
• Reaching/Working Overhead: sometimes

Salary and Benefits

• Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
