Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Coordinator Pathology Point of Care to lead the development and oversight of an integrated Point of Care Testing (POCT) system across all sites. You will work with clinical staff, managers, vendors, and IT to standardize procedures, training, and data management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Medical Technology or related field, licensure as a CLT (MT/TN), and preferred ASCP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or other related field; field of study specified.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Licensed Clinical Lab Technologist (MT/TN) required.
• ASCP certification preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee an integrated POCT system across all sites.
• Work with clinical personnel, managers, distributors, and vendors to implement standardized procedures and training.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with CAP, Joint Commission, and CLIA ’88 regulations.
• Collaborate with IT and Billing to maintain data management systems for POCT.
