KBR in Ohio seeks a mid-level Software Engineer to develop, integrate, and evaluate positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) software for various systems and DoD programs. You will work across system, algorithm, and integration boundaries in lab and field environments.

The role requires a strong software foundation and DoD clearance eligibility, with 3–7 years of experience and Proficiency in C/C++ or Python. Collaboration with systems engineers and hardware teams is essential.

• Design, develop, and maintain software for various systems, simulations, and performance analysis environments
• Develop and implement algorithms grounded in first principles physics, including measurement modeling and estimator behavior
• Integrate software with hardware- and software-in-the-loop environments
• Develop interfaces between software components and external systems
• Assist in test planning, execution, and analysis for PNT-focused experiments and evaluations
• Collaborate with systems engineers to align requirements with software design
• Document software designs, interfaces, and test results for technical reviews
