Job summary

KBR Careers in Beavercreek, OH is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support the integration, test, and evaluation of PNT systems, including GPS and inertial platforms. This onsite role provides early career engineers with hands-on exposure to lab and field environments under senior guidance.

You will help develop system requirements, assist with hardware/software integration, collect and analyze test data, and contribute to technical reviews and test campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field as listed.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience.
• Foundational understanding of systems engineering principles and integration concepts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of system requirements, interfaces, and test plans.
• Support laboratory setup, configuration, and execution of PNT experiments and evaluations.
• Support integration of hardware, software, and test infrastructure.
• Assist with hardware- and software-in-the-loop test activities.
• Collect, analyze, and document test data to support system assessment and algorithm evaluation.
• Support coordination between software, hardware, and test teams.
• Document system configurations, test procedures, and results to support technical reviews and deliverables.
• Participate in team technical interchange meetings to describe technical activities, progress, issues, improvements.
