Job summary

KBR is seeking a Jr PNT Engineer in Beavercreek, Ohio to join a team delivering GPS/GNSS solutions and advanced signal processing in a mission-driven setting. You will design hardware-in-the-loop tests, set up measurements, analyze results, and communicate findings to customers and teammates.

Responsibilities span GNSS analysis, signal propagation, and electronics, with opportunities to grow across junior to senior levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum 5+ years of technical experience in communications or navigation (GPS/GNSS).
• Experience testing hardware-in-the-loop systems.
• Familiarity with digital design and RF signal concepts.
• Theory and practical knowledge in communications, navigation, and EE.
• Lab work with common test gear and PCB work.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Programming skills in Python, C#, C++, or similar.
• Ability to manage customer relations effectively.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work in both team and solo environments.
• Eligible for government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-disciplinary engineering/analysis in PNT, GNSS, and related areas.
• Develop technical approaches, assess resources, performance, and risks.
• Potentially lead complex tasks across disciplines.
• Serve as SME for functional areas as needed.
• Provide technical/managerial direction for system development and optimization.
• Conduct risk assessments using modeling and simulation.
• Produce reports, presentations, and program insights.
