Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software, Computer, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from an ABET accredited institution
• 10+ years of experience
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Strong software architecture and design principles
• Experience with Linux systems
• Experience with hardware/software integration
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers
• Security clearance or ability to obtain one
• U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of software applications and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
• Write, review, and optimize high-quality, maintainable code in C/C++ and Python
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
• Troubleshoot complex issues ensuring scalability, security, and performance
• Stay current with emerging technologies and improve development processes
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
