KBR, located in Beavercreek, Ohio, is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support the integration, test, and evaluation of PNT systems such as GPS and inertial platforms. The role develops foundational systems engineering skills under senior engineers in a lab and field environment for DoD programs.

The position targets early career engineers with a Bachelor's in engineering and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance, working in a collaborative, mission-focused team.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 0-2 years of engineering experience.
• Foundational understanding of systems engineering principles and system integration concepts.
• Ability to work in laboratory or test environments supporting integrated systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance.

Mansioni

• Assist with development of system requirements, interfaces, and test plans.
• Support laboratory setup, configuration, and execution of PNT experiments and evaluations.
• Support integration of hardware, software, and test infrastructure.
• Assist with hardware- and software-in-the-loop test activities.
• Collect, analyze, and document test data to support system assessment and algorithm evaluation.
• Support coordination between software, hardware, and test teams.
• Document system configurations, test procedures, and results to support technical reviews and deliverables.
• Participate in team technical interchange meetings to describe technical activities, progress, issues, improvements, and more
