Job summary

AV invites students to join its Summer Internship Program in the United States, offering hands‑on exposure within the aerospace and defense domain. The 12‑week, onsite internship collaborates with the PMO team to improve processes, data management, dashboards, and risk oversight while you learn cross‑function communication and project coordination.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor’s program with a 3.0+ GPA, strong writing and analytical skills, and an interest in program management.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (business/ops/economics/marketing).
• 0-1 year of working experience preferred.
• Strong interest in program management, process improvement, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to identify and eliminate waste in PMO processes.
• Document and implement standardized PMO processes and best practices.
• Create and maintain process documentation, templates, work instructions, and training documentation.
• Maintain a standard data management structure in SharePoint for non-technical program documents.
• Support the corporatedevelopment of dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track program performance metrics.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility across program management tools.
• Document program actions during PMO reviews and ensure accountability for action item closure.
• Work with program teams to ensure adherence to program management processes.
• Maintain risk registers and ensure timely risk response implementation.
• Monitor and report on risk status and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Coordinate training events to ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation materials for new PMO staff.
