Job summary

PowerPlan, Inc. is seeking a Manager to lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of six to ten project managers delivering enterprise software implementations, upgrades, and optimizations. This front-line leadership role will establish evidence-based visibility into portfolio health and strengthen the PMO operating model across engagements.

The role focuses on building PM capability, governance discipline, and proactive delivery outcomes, rather than rescues of individual projects.

Qualifications

• Experience independently validating project health, financials, and forecasts against evidence.
• Track record coaching project managers through real project situations.
• Apply governance and delivery standards proportionately, tailoring rigor to engagement size, complexity, and risk.
• Working knowledge of project financials, margin, estimate to complete, backlog, and change management practices.
• Experience leading customer escalations and governance conversations at the executive level, and knowing when to step back once an issue is stabilized.
• Direct people-management experience holding delivery professionals accountable while supporting their growth and independence.

Responsibilities

• Lead six-to-ten PMs delivering enterprise software implementations, upgrades, and optimization engagements.
• Establish evidence-based portfolio health visibility and PMO process discipline across the portfolio.
• Coach PMs and hold them accountable through real-situation development and case-based learning.
• Ensure governance is applied proportionately to engagement size, complexity, and risk.
• Strengthen financial and commercial discipline with visibility into revenue, budget, margin, and forecasts.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
