Job summary

Kennametal Inc. in Latrobe, PA is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to support program managers on development initiatives and procurement processes. The role covers daily admin tasks, schedule maintenance, and reporting. Hybrid work is available.

You will develop Power BI reports, facilitate gate meetings, and track milestones while maintaining documentation. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or manufacturing discipline required.
• Experience: 2-4 years
• Working knowledge of project management software.
• Self-motivated and independent thinker.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Support Program / Project Managers on maintenance of project schedules, risks, issues, action items, and tool use.
• Coordinate Project Management training program logistics.
• Develop and maintain all Power BI reports.
• Schedule and facilitate Technology gate meetings, including preparing agendas and documenting meeting minutes.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and action items.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, records, and reporting dashboards.
• Follow up on assigned tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Identify potential project risks or roadblocks and elevate issues as needed.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project-related correspondence.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the technology PMO including Project management updates, and database maintenance.
