Job summary

Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee complex product development programs in a hybrid work model. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, aligning R&D with finance on capital spend, and delivering world-class project execution from inception through launch.

You will develop robust program plans, manage P&L, and coordinate with stakeholders across manufacturing, engineering, and marketing to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Engineering Product Development preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a New Product Development leadership role preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics or related field.
• Proven experience in new product development within consumer and professional goods industries.
• Demonstrated management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams, including executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects whose level of innovation and technology are new to the business, with high risk and capital spend.
• Develop and monitor program P&L and key drivers affecting financial health.
• Guide development of technical project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless execution across boundaries of company, culture and geography.
