Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Program Associate for the Global Regulatory Affairs Office (GRAO) PMO to execute day‑to‑day PMO routines and support program continuity. The role involves coordinating change requests, preparing status updates, and maintaining governance artifacts across multiple programs.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree or equivalent PM/Project management experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Outlook, Teams, and the MS Office 365 suite.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Experience with financial risk, regulatory, or compliance domains is a plus.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and adaptable to change.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely packaging and archival of program deliverables.
  • Coordinate assessment, approval, and implementation of change requests.
  • Develop weekly status reports with progress, risks, and issues.
  • Maintain risk/issue/action item log and decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.
  • Serve as PMO contact for programs and provide general PMO support.
  • Assist PMO calendar and communications, including internal/external documents.
  • Prioritize multiple projects with accuracy and minimal revisions.
  • Facilitate discussions and drive decisions.
