Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA, Inc.) provides a contractor assignment in New York, NY to support a major financial services client.
Pay range: Base salary $90.58 ‑ $108.70 per hour. Additional compensation may be negotiated based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential support to key business lines including Markets, Services, and Wealth Management.
- Deliver a suite of services for client lifecycle transactions, from establishment to regulatory reporting.
- Execute strategic change initiatives within the Operations Optimization & Enablement Team, such as establishing regulatory functions, implementing Gen AI solutions, and designing TOM.
- Deliver robust governance, tracking, and reporting for projects across the SMBIC Data and Regulatory Operations Group.
- Lead innovation initiatives, pilot projects to streamline data/documentation, explore AI for automation, and support testing/QA programs.
- Support NFRR implementations, formalize meeting minutes, track plans, risks, and actions for compliance.
- Identify and drive strategic opportunities within the NFRR framework to optimize processes.
- Champion UAT, regression testing, and QA teams and collaborate with DRO PMO on AI initiatives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, prepare governance decks and reports for senior stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation supporting audit readiness.
- Guide smaller projects, applying PMO best practices for efficient outcomes.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s/University degree.
- Minimum 5 years of PMO experience in financial services.
- Project governance, reporting, risk and issue tracking expertise.
- Experience managing project documentation, minutes, action logs, and plans.
- Capability to create and update governance decks and management reports.
- Strong organizational and detail orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
- Independent work, prioritization and deadline management.
- Knowledge of data management principles and issue tracking systems.
- Experience with NFRR or other regulatory regimes.
- Analytical and problem‑solving, leveraging data for decisions.
- Experience leading AI implementation programs.
- Commitment to high‑quality PMO support and project success.
- Excellent oral and written communication and stakeholder management.
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Preferred Skills
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or similar.
