Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Regulatory Change Assurance Specialist to lead assurance reviews across the regulatory change lifecycle and manage the Assurance team’s pipeline. This role reports to the Head of Regulatory Change Assurance in the Global Regulatory Change Management (GRCM) department.

The position emphasizes a proactive, organized approach with strong collaboration across business, compliance, risk, and executive stakeholders to drive remediation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading complex assurance, audit, or regulatory change initiatives.
• Strong program management capabilities with stakeholder reporting.
• Experience developing methodologies, templates, and operating models within assurance or risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute regulatory change assurance reviews across the organization.
• Provide leadership in development of the Regulatory Change Assurance Methodology.
• Manage assurance projects including scoping, planning, and remediation verification.
• Coordinate regulator/audit responses and management reporting.
• Oversee operation of the Assurance team and its pipeline.
