  • Responsible for development, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes and mechanisms for accountability to schedule, budget, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure clear communication of progress and deviations to schedule, budget and recovery/mitigation plans at the appropriate levels of management.
  • Identify and manage risks - operational, technical, financial - and ensure that mitigation plans are developed and implemented.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, supporting program managers in engaging with customers at the right level.
  • Apply high judgment to align program objectives with Re:Build Manufacturing’s strategic priorities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage a team of highly skilled cross-functional program managers, providing an organizational structure that reinforces the fundamentals of program management, and increasing the overall skill level of the team and of Re:Build.

What you bring to the Team
  • Customer engagement: requirements development and negotiation, communication of risks and opportunities, resolution of technical/business/operational gaps and growth of work scope within existing customers, in close partnership with the commercial team;
  • Cross-functional management: identifying and leveraging resources without a direct reporting relationship, aligning the team to a goal and driving accountability across functions to hit a common objective;
  • Management of large, complex programs: spanning multiple customers or businesses with multiyear timelines, technical uncertainty - identify and marshal resources to meet technical and operational requirements;
  • Experience in manufacturing and supply chain: including metal and composite fabrication and assembly for aerospace, transportation, consumer products, and medical devices;

  • Technical, operational, and financial acumen: as demonstrated by success in running equivalent organizations with relevant technical content;
  • Leadership of high performing, highly skilled individuals: setting challenging goals and providing support for learning and growth together with successful execution of commitments.
Education and/or Experience:
  • A BS degree in an engineering or technical field (electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering); advanced technical degree and/or MBA preferred.
  • 10-15 years or more of full-time work experience in a technical project or program management role that required managing timelines, requirements, budgets, and metrics for technically complex products for commercial customers.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role with direct and indirect authority to manage cross-functional resources.
