Job summary

gategroup is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) to drive the execution of strategic initiatives across North America. You will bridge strategic intent and operations, leading PMO governance, portfolio management, and monthly reporting across U.S.

units. The role requires 16+ years in project management or related fields, with expertise in PMI/PRINCE2/Agile, Excel, and financial analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; preference for Engineering, Operations Management, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or Operations Management is a strong plus.
Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects in aviation, airline catering, or manufacturing environments.
Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with operations simulation or linear programming is a plus.
PMO, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification required.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt a plus; HACCP and food safety management system experience a plus.
Strong financial and analytical acumen including statistics, financial modeling, and performance reporting.
Proficient in English; additional languages are an asset.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives ensuring alignment with cost, timing, and quality targets.
Apply PMI, PRINCE2, and Agile methodologies to structure charters, WBS, resource plans, and governance.
Develop and enforce PMO standards, tools, templates, and governance across the organization.
Manage PMO portfolio view and cross-functional interdependencies; conduct post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
Own monthly operational reporting and MBRS for U.S. leadership; develop dashboards and KPI frameworks.
Lead cross-functional teams; translate objectives into detailed requirements and secure executive sponsorship.
Coordinate with regional leadership to integrate global standards across U.S. units.
