Job summary

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Virginia license as a PMHNP-C.
• Active DEA license or willingness to obtain one.
• All experience levels welcome to apply.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF settings.
• Coverage area includes Lynchburg and Appomattox, Virginia.
