Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a clinical PMHNP or Psychiatric PA-C to deliver on-site patient care in post-acute and long-term care settings in South Raleigh and Fuquay-Varina, NC. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends and remote documentation support.

You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat psychiatric and neurocognitive conditions, prescribe psychotropic medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care for older

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain.
• All experience levels as a PMHNP or Psych PA welcome to apply.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns; provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
